Most people use two web browsers, first being Google Chrome and second is Mozilla Firefox which is an open source browser too. But in Mac OS X we already have Safari, so the good choice between Chrome and Firefox is Chrome.

Google Chrome comes with a wide range of features:

  • Speed
  • Simplicity
  • Customization
  • Security
  • Privacy
  • Signing In

Google Chrome is fast because it comes with V8 JavaScript engine however, there is one drawback of using Google Chrome, i.e. it consumes a lot of memory and battery. For most users memory is not an issue because they have plenty of it, but battery consumption is a major issue. While running Chrome you can click on battery icon at top right corner to see which all apps that are consuming more power and Chrome would be definitely there.
